Welcome to the Madeline Island Yacht Club!
Located on Madeline Island, surrounded by the Apostle Island National Lakeshore, Madeline Island Yacht Club, Inc. is perfectly situated to take advantage of this expansive national park. The twenty-two luxuriously green islands are located in the archipelago of Northern Wisconsin situated in the cool, clear waters of Lake Superior. An abundance of wildlife can be seen while hiking the network of trails maintained by the National Park Service. Visit the historic sites, such as the lighthouses, that dot the islands.
Located on the largest of the Apostle Islands, Madeline Island Yacht Club, Inc. was organized in 1977 by a group of boat owners who loved the Apostle Islands and desired a beautiful, quiet and tranquil marina for their yachting home. It is operated on a non-profit basis for the benefit of its 140 members who collectively own the Club and facilties, and direct the operation through its elected Board of Directors.
The Club facilities are complete and well-staffed. The docks at the Club are very well protected from adverse weather and have electricity and water available. With boat slips ranging in length from 25 feet to 80 feet and a 35-ton travelift, you will find the right facilities for the largest and smallest boat. The MIYC is a full-service marina with a repair shop, Ship's Store, gasoline and diesel fuel, and pumpout service. Though membership assures you a slip space and lower rates, transient and seasonal dockage is available to visitors at non-member rates on a space-available basis.

Club News
The crew is gearing up for the Spring boating season. Slip leases
have been sent out to all those mooring with us this season. There
are a few slips available for sublet for the season and interested
boaters should contact the MIYC office at 715-747-2655. Launch Request
Forms were sent out in April and will also be available on this web
site under the Marina Services-Shop Services-Launch Information tabs.
At present, the marina continues to be iced in, but the Madeline Island
Ferry Line is running with one ferry on the early schdule. For further
updates and schedule information, their link is on this home page.
MIYC HOURS:
Monday -Friday 8:00 am to 4:15 pm. The MIYC will be open on Saturdays
beginning April 27th (subject to weather conditions, so call ahead)
