Our bylaws, Article VII, 7.1, require a special member meeting called to address assessments levied to members. Therefore, we are scheduling a Special Member Meeting August 31, 2024, 4:30 PM in the Members Lounge to formalize the approval of this assessment.

This coincides with our Social Event/Happy Hour, Saturday August 31, 5:00, the weekend of Labor Day Holiday. Participate in the special meeting and then stay for the Happy Hour to celebrate a great season with your fellow members!

The annual Commodore’s Reception, hosted Saturday, May 28, by Commodore Tom Penn, will include a wine tasting to both celebrate and inform the introduction of wine and beer to the marina store.

The reception will be held outdoors on the patio next to the members lounge.

Gather in the members lounge from 5:30 to 7:00 to share your boating adventures and enjoy cocktails and appetizers with fellow members and guests.

Our annual kick-off members event. Join us in the Members Lounge from 5:30-7:00 to kick off our boating season. And this year, we’re using this gathering as a Recognition and Celebration of Cile’s Retirement at MIYC. 

This is a fun event for members to share all our sailing adventures of the 2018 season, and to enlist the help of our many friends with our season-end work:  especially the big things, like taking off our sails!

Members can catch up with each other on how the boating season is going so far.

Hosted by MIYC in the Members Lounge, this year. Please bring an appetizer to share with our friends and members from the Madeline Island Golf Course.

An old-fashioned ice cream social for members and their guests from 7:00-8:30 PM on the patio by the member’s lounge. MIYC will provide the ice cream! So, boat owners, start planning for your lighted boat display, and be ready to motor along the harbor front, lights on, ice cream in hand, and patriotism on display!

The Madeline Island Golf Club invites members of the Madeline Island Yacht Club to the annual joint cocktail party in the MIGC Club House.

This is a Member pot luck event in the Member's lounge from 8:00 to 10:00 PM.
Bring a yummy dessert to share and your favorite beverage to pair with sweets.
